Job Summary

Mass General Brigham is launching an exciting Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program in collaboration with Mass Bay Community College designed to develop a strong sustainable pipeline of skilled Medical Assistants through a blend of structured education hands-on clinical training and supported career progression.

This is an entry-level work-and-learn Medical Assistant Apprentice role that integrates classroom learning with supervised clinical training in a fast-paced ambulatory care environment. The program is a 40-hour per week commitment with days for classroom instruction clinical skills labs and immersive on-the-job training within a community-based ambulatory practice.

Apprentices will be matched to a practice location within the greater Boston area based on clinical needs program requirements and site availability. Upon successful completion of the entire 22-week program the goal is for each apprentice to transition into a Medical Assistant role within the Mass General Brigham System.

-Saugus


Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required

No experience No problem! This program is designed for individuals who are passionate about healthcare and ready to learn. We provide the training support and hands-on experience needed to build a successful Medical Assistant career within Primary Care at Mass General Brigham!
