Job Summary
Mass General Brigham is launching an exciting Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program in collaboration with Mass Bay Community College designed to develop a strong sustainable pipeline of skilled Medical Assistants through a blend of structured education hands-on clinical training and supported career progression.This is an entry-level work-and-learn Medical Assistant Apprentice role that integrates classroom learning with supervised clinical training in a fast-paced ambulatory care environment. The program is a 40-hour per week commitment with days for classroom instruction clinical skills labs and immersive on-the-job training within a community-based ambulatory practice.
Apprentices will be matched to a practice location within the greater Boston area based on clinical needs program requirements and site availability. Upon successful completion of the entire 22-week program the goal is for each apprentice to transition into a Medical Assistant role within the Mass General Brigham System.

Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
