Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the site administration and as an integral partof the library/media program to perform a variety of library clerical and computer duties in the school library setting; to provide assistance to students and staff.

Requirements / Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent requiredNCLB Compliance (Submit NCLB compliance - one (1) of any of the three (3) ways listed: 1.)AA degree or higher 2.) Transcripts verifying 48 units or more 3.) Documentation of Para-Educator Certificate or passing grade on a state or local Para-Educator/Instructional Aide test.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING GUIDELINES:Any combination equivalent to experience and training that would provide the requiredknowledge skills and abilities would be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledgeskills and abilities would be:1. One year of clerical and computer experience including some exposure to basic library procedures.2. Some experience working in an organized education or child care setting.3. Bilingual Preferred
