Your team handles the physical layer of autonomy: actuation of steering braking and hydraulics sensor mounting and protection wiring harnesses and the electronics enclosures that all of it lives in. Because these machines operate on rough terrain in dust and mud and through wide temperature swings ruggedization and serviceability carry as much weight in your design reviews as raw performance.
You will oversee your teams day-to-day responsibilities in designing building testing deploying maintaining and supporting mechatronic systems and components that integrate mechanical electrical and software engineering principles.
