Position Summary:
The Engineer position requires 0-5 years of related experience and an accredited bachelors degree with a focus in Mechanical Civil or General engineering experience. Responsible for applying engineering processes design criteria and software applications to design and construct power related systems. Supports estimate preparation develops design options and prepares construction specifications. Provide guidance oversight and quality assurance reviews for approved contractors as they develop design solutions cost estimates and construction packages.

Creating a safe work environment by putting safety first understand the process used for planning design operation construction and maintenance.
Understanding the functions and activities of various internal departments involved in design construction and maintenance understanding design practices and work processes.
Using all software applications used in design understanding industry and clients design standards supporting design standard and criteria development for the system supporting construction and maintenance teams during day-to-day operations estimating material for projects transmitting construction packages and supporting specifications.
Independent decisions based on procedure and review with supervisor.
Basic discipline software knowledge strong work ethic positive attitude and the ability to build effective relationships with plant staff.
Design engineering staff and/or vendors.
