Pay Rate: $60-$69.85/Hr. on W2.

Working Hours: 8:00 AM 05:00 PM

What is the primary mission of this role
o Mechanical / HW Testing

What You Will Do
Perform instrumentation planning and test conduct of all Hardware Tests including vibration mechanical shock temperature altitude humidity and structural testing
Dynamic and thermal data acquisition and analysis
Provide test fixture design coordination
Work independently and take ownership of program/project to achieve schedule financial and technical goals
Prepare test plans schedules test reports and technical documentation of project work assigned
Work directly with design engineering structural analysis personnel manufacturing engineering and commercial customers
Provide technical expertise to programs as needed
Factory and supplier testing support domestically and internationally
Generate detailed archival technical reports
Travel to test sites to support test or design discussion (depending on work assignment)
Willingness to travel to domestic Raytheon sites suppliers and government facilities

Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience. An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for additional years of experience
Hands-on mechanical aptitude and willingness to work in a lab environment

Qualifications We Prefer
Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering. ABET is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.
Experience in Hardware and Environmental Testing (i.e. Dynamic Shock/Vibration Climatic Structural)
Experience in one or more of the following areas: Signal processing data acquisition field test instrumentation or structural testing
Ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment and independently
Experience with solid modeling CAD tool such as CREO or equivalent
Experience with Matlab
Experience presenting to external customers
Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
Ability to travel to government and other facilities in support of program activities
