Mechanical Optomechanical Engineer

Oratomic is on a mission to build the worlds first fault-tolerant quantum computer.

We are actively hiring mechanical and optomechanical engineers to take part in designing building and operating fault-tolerant neutral atom quantum computers. You will work in a tight-knit team across hardware (lasers optics vacuum electronics) software and whatever else is required to build the working quantum computer. This role will focus on the design prototyping and implementation of precision mechanical and optomechanical systems as well as developing the CAD workflows and engineering documentation used across the team. You will work closely with scientists and engineers to take designs from initial concepts through fabrication assembly and testing in the lab. A strong background in mechanical or optomechanical design CAD and hands-on hardware development is desirable for this role. We are hiring at all experience levels.

• $200000-$350000/year depending on experience
