Mechanical Maintenance Technician Nights 7pm-7am

An established industrial manufacturing company is seeking experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to maintain troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment in Florence Alabama.

This hands-on position requires strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience working with industrial machinery hydraulic and pneumatic systems and mechanical power transmission components.

The ideal candidate has a solid background in industrial manufacturing maintenance can independently diagnose equipment failures and is comfortable working 12-hour night shifts.

• Troubleshoot repair and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment including conveyors pumps gearboxes bearings and drive systems.
• Diagnose mechanical failures identify root causes and implement effective repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems including cylinders valves and related components.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance equipment inspections lubrication and component replacements.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings blueprints equipment manuals and technical documentation.
• Assist with equipment installations modifications alignments and commissioning.
• Collaborate with electrical and controls technicians to resolve complex machinery issues.
• Follow established safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues to production and maintenance teams.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting maintenance and repair skills.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical power transmission bearings gearboxes motors and industrial production equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings blueprints and technical manuals.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness and ability to work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

• Technical certification or trade school training in industrial maintenance mechanical systems or a related field.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Experience with industrial equipment installation alignment and commissioning.
• Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and industrial safety procedures.
