Job Responsibilities:
Lead structural and dynamic analysis projects for the reactor internal components and support structures to demonstrate compliance withASME BPVC Section III. Evaluate primary & secondary stresses and fatigue in reactor internals resulting from mechanical and thermal loadings. Execute analyses for assigned projects using sound engineering principles while adhering to established business standards practices procedures and program requirements. Prepare technical reports calculation packages and documentation supporting regulatory and design requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design engineers system engineers project managers and external partners to complete assigned design activities on time and on budget.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Proven experience in mechanical design and project execution. Strong broad knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices. At least 10 years of experience performing structural analysis working knowledge on ASME Code Sec III is highly preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience conducting finite element analysis (FEA) including evaluation of mechanical and thermal loadings under both static and transient conditions preferably using ANSYS Workbench or APDL. Programming or data analysis experience using tools such as MATLAB or Python. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams. Ability to clearly document engineering analyses and communicate technical findings through reports and presentations. Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
