Mechanical Engineer IV

Our Client an Internet Content & Information company is looking for a Mechanical Engineer IV for their Sunnyvale CA / Hybrid location.

Responsibilities:

• Support internal product demos: device bring up and software readiness ensure devices are working optimally participate in any and participate in internal HW demos.
• Support prototype work: building testing working with data collection teams and procurement for any internal camera system prototypes
• Plan and manage prototype work project with multiple team members

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Optical Engineer or Mechanical Engineering
• Familiarity with working with camera sensors streaming RAW data
• Experience with mechanical optical and electrical prototyping: ability to put together complex systems perform soldering and basic electrical testing and evaluate and align optical components.
• Experience Working on AI
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Masters degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Optical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience working with cameras used for AI applications; such as AR/VR Robotics Autonomous Vehicles Computer Vision applications or other relevant fields.
• Expertise with any of the following prototyping skills: CAD design & 3d printing electrical design programming embedded devices assembly of consumer electronics
• Experience working with Android devices (adb)
