Job Summary
We are seeking a detailoriented Mechanical Engineer to support and improve our highreliability process electronic analyzers used in demanding industrial and hazardous environments. This role connects design manufacturing and field performance to ensure our instruments meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Support and optimize manufacturing processes for analytical instruments and subassemblies.
Design assembly fixtures test fixtures and tooling to improve efficiency and repeatability.
Perform failure analysis on production and field issues; drive rootcause and corrective actions.
Maintain and update standardized product documentation and change requests.
Provide CAD modeling/drafting for fixtures and product updates.
Collaborate with Production Quality R&D and Field Service teams.
Experience with small electronic assemblies and mechanical packaging.
Knowledge of analytical sensors/detectors (GC or similar preferred).
Familiarity with hazardousarea certification (ATEX IECEx NEC).
Strong rootcause analysis skills (5Why Fishbone FMEA).
Exceptional attention to detail and configuration control.
Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD tools.
Preferred: B.S. Mechanical Engineering 10 years relevant experience.
Alternative: A.S. in engineering 15 years progressive experience with strong documentation control.
Desired: Prior military technical/maintenance background.
