What Youll Do
- Design develop test and launch electromechanical systems assemblies and components
- Translate customer regulatory and business needs into safe manufacturable designs
- Perform engineering analyses including stress fatigue load and performance calculations
- Support NPI from concept and prototyping through validation and launch readiness
- Improve existing products using field data warranty trends customer feedback and manufacturing input
- Drive cost reliability safety usability and manufacturability improvements
- Partner with Manufacturing Supply Chain Quality and suppliers to resolve issues and reduce lifecycle costs
- Create and maintain drawings specifications BOMs test plans and technical documentation
Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering
- Minimum 3 years of mechanical design and testing experience
- Experience with electromechanical systems SolidWorks and FEA software
- Strong understanding of statics mechanics of materials machine design and fatigue analysis
- Experience with GD&T blueprint interpretation and manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical problem-solving project management and communication skills

Environment:The job will be performed in an office environment (50%) test lab (20%) and in a manufacturing facility (30%).
Typical working hours:8am to 5pm
Travel:Limited (<20%)
