Job Summary
Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Tulsa OK 74116
Shift: 9/80 schedule 8:00am start (M-Th 4X9 & M-F 4X98)
Pay Rate: $45.00/hr - $57.00/hr on W2!
Contract: 6-month contract with potential extension
Citizenship Requirement: US Citizenship required
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of complex mechanical components and assemblies
Provide technical expertise across sensor electronic electromechanical and optical systems
Develop detailed CAD models drawings and engineering documentation
Support production and manufacturing teams with design for manufacturability
Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices
Apply advanced engineering analysis and problem-solving techniques
Skills/Experience:
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of mechanical design experience
Proficiency in Siemens NX
High expertise in at least one additional CAD platform: SolidWorks CATIA or Creo NX (preferred)
Proven experience designing for complex systems and applications
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong experience with GD&T
Experience supporting production lines and design for manufacturability
Experience with shock vibration and stress analysis
Ability to adapt across different CAD tools and design environments
Degree Requirements:
Bachelors Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
