Job Summary

The Mechanical Construction Assistant Project Manager forthe San Diego CA location has the following dutieswhich include safety of UMEC field personnel assigned to the projects field labor productivity quality assurance and coordination project financial projections and reporting material and equipment procurement change order management owner/client relations project cash flow and personnel management. Comply with all company operating policies procedures executed plans and programs. Other duties may be assigned.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully the individual must have 5-7 years construction work-related experience and/or bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. COMPUTER SKILLS

Able to effectively operate the following computer software programs - Microsoft (Excel Word Project Access and Powerpoint) Bluebeam Revu PDF editing Vista-Viewpoint (Project Management & Accounting Software) and Quotesoft Estimating Software.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate cooperate and collaborate with multiple levels of employees vendors and suppliers.
