We are seeking aMechanic IIto join our operations team in Salt Lake City Utah. This role requires you to troubleshoot repair and work on a variety of components.

What you will do:

  • Perform minor and major overhaul of reciprocating gas compressor units and related support equipment including generator units and water pump units.

  • Respond to equipment problems and emergency calls.

  • Maintain mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

  • Communicate information and recommendations to supervisors and company workers.

  • Assist in planning compressor station maintenance activities. Inventories spare equipment parts and maintains records on equipment.

Who you are:

  • High School Diploma/GED with3 years of directly related experiencein industrial mechanical or equipment maintenance environments.

  • Strong knowledge ofmechanical electrical hydraulic pneumatic and automation systems including compressors generators pumps and control equipment.

  • Proficient in troubleshooting repairing and maintaining industrial equipment using specialized tools such as power tools grinders and torque wrenches.

  • Working knowledge of computer applications and control system software along with solid mathematical aptitude for operational and maintenance activities.

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety includinglockout/tagout procedures voltage recognition and emergency response activities.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to follow and execute detailed instructions independently.

  • Physically capable of performing field-based work including lifting/moving equipment operating maintenance tools and using sight hearing smell and color recognition to safely monitor equipment and detect operating issues.

Physical Requirements: Include but are not limited to:

Balancing bending and stooping climbing crawling carrying (up to 25 pounds) grasping kneeling lifting (objects up to 25 pounds) pulling hand over hand pushing reaching above shoulder repetitive motion sitting standing walking visual requirement (able to see screens detect color coding read fine print) hearing requirement.
