Mechanic

Tamarack Golf Course located in East Brunswick NJ is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Mechanic! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

• Five years of progressive mechanics experience; golf course-specific experience preferred
• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be organized motivated and efficient with a high attention to detail
• Knowledge of gasoline diesel (including Tier IV emissions) and two-cycle motors
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems
• Knowledge of grinding equipment and proper reel and bed knife grinding techniques preferred
• Must keep thorough records of preventative maintenance and inventories

• New Bernhard reel and bed knife grinders with dedicated grinding room
• Equipment lift
• Mostly new equipment fleet; majority of equipment is five years old or newer
• Many shop tools available but a qualified candidate should provide their own tools
