The Team:

The Chief Client Office (CCO) is dedicated to engaging customers industry groups and key stakeholders to enhance customer experience and create measurable value for S&P Global. Within the CCO the Client Coverage team accelerates growth through strategic partnerships with key accounts fostering cross-functional collaboration to deliver comprehensive solutions and maximize customer success.

Responsibilities and Impact:

Shape the long-term strategy for key accounts ensuringhigh levelsof client satisfaction andrepresentingthe organization externally as a thought leader and subject matter expert.

Identifynew business opportunities within existing accounts and pursue new client relationships translating identified opportunities into a commercial strategy at the most senior levels.

Build andmaintainexecutive-level relationships with key internal and external customers and stakeholders driving strategic alignment and influencing market trends to achieve enterpriseobjectives.

Use data analytics AI-enabled tools CRM discipline and client intelligence to improve pipeline management account planning opportunity identification productivity and decision-making.

Plan coordinate andparticipatein new business/client prospecting providing strategic and innovative solutions to solve complex problems with multiple sources of input.

Monitorand evaluate key customer strategies business trends and growth prioritiesleveragingmarket understanding to institute methodologies standards and best practices within the organization and market.

Provide transparent financial and operational assessments of the health of our customer relationshipsdemonstratingfinancial and budget responsibility for their respective businessarea.

Partner and collaborate across various internal multidisciplinary teams (e.g. sales marketing product development) to ensure cohesive execution of strategies and initiatives that meet client needs providing subject matterexpertiseand strategic oversight.

Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure profitable deals reducing contractual and commercial friction to improve customer experience while understanding the costs and benefits of each solution.

Develop industry-specific knowledge and drive thought leadership across the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and cross-divisional commercial organizationsactively influencing the market rather than merelyobservingtrends and applying this understanding to institute new methodologies and standards.

All employeesare required towork from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.

Compensation/Benefits Information:S&P Globalstatesthat theanticipatedbase salary range for this position is $176306kto $312090. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individuals geographic location as well as experience level skill set training licenses and addition to base compensation this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan and equity.

Basic Required Qualifications:

An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 15 years of experience in strategic client management business development or a related field with a proventrack recordof driving significant revenue growth and market influence.

Demonstratedability to understand global market trends translate them intoa long-term vision andoperateeffectively within significant levels of complexity and ambiguity.

Strong data analytics and AI fluency with the ability to use client intelligence market insight and technology-enabled tools to improve decision-making and commercial execution.

Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to explain complex market client and business issues clearly to a range of audiences.

Exceptional relationship management skills including building andmaintainingrelationships with key internal and external customers and stakeholders at the executive level andrepresentingthe organization externally.

Provenexpertiseas a recognized thought leader and subject matter expert both externally and internally with the ability to articulate complex ideas across diverse audiences and negotiate effectively to agree on solutions.

Role model in fostering inclusivity managing emotions and biases to achieveoptimalbusiness outcomes and driving collaboration across cross-functional organizations to influence and build strategy.

Experience in leading a highly visible business area region or important business processdemonstratingthe ability todeterminepriorities andestablishbroad plans connected with the overall enterprise strategy.

Demonstratedability to manage risks effectively pivot direction and delegate responsibilities to maximize opportunities and challenge whole systems and processes to define sustainable courses of action seeking input from various sources for engagement and sustainability.

Proven capacity to actively seek diverse opinions and build consensus for strategic solutions ensuring initiativestake into accounttheir impact across all relevant areas of the organization and proactively engaging cross-functionally toleverageexpertise.
