Matls Mgt - Supervisor Supply ChainCore Supply Chain ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement materials management strategies aligned with organizational goals including procurement storage distribution and supply planningCross Functioning: Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operationsProcurement Oversight: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials components and supplies negotiating terms and resolving supply chain issuesInventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent overstocking and shortages using cycle counting physical audits and demand analysis to improve accuracy and reduce carrying costsWarehouse & Distribution Control: Oversee receiving put-away storage organization and outbound shipping to ensure materials and finished goods move efficiently to the right locations at the right timeOrder Cycle Management: Control the order-to-delivery process including purchase order processing supplier invoicing and shipment trackingData Analysis & Performance Monitoring: Analyze material usage lead times and cost data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvementCross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with production planning quality and logistics teams to align material availability with production & Safety: Ensure adherence to health safety and regulatory standards in material handling and storageBudget & Timeline Management: Manage departmental budgets and timelines to support supply chain objectivesTeam Leadership: Supervise and train staff develop SOPs and foster a culture of safety accuracy and continuous improvementSkills & CompetenciesStrong analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesProficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systemsExcellent communication negotiation and leadership skillsUnderstanding of JIT lean and inventory optimization principles In essence the Materials Management Supervisor acts as the operational backbone of the supply chain ensuring materials are available when needed stored efficiently and delivered on time while minimizing waste and experience as logistics supervisorSolid understanding of logistics proceduresExperience in directing and evaluating subordinatesExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility in problem-solving and decision-makingBSc/BA in business administration supply chain management or equivalentWork Environment:This job role typically involves working in a warehouse(s) or a similar facility. Some travel might be required to visit vendors or other inter-company range:We offer marketcompetitive compensation. Potential salary range forthis role is $70000 - $80000 annual salary. Actual pay will be determined based on experience qualifications geographic location and other job-related factors permitted by law.
