Materials Management Supply Clerk

Iberia Medical Center is looking for a Full-time Materials Management Supply Clerk.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Under thegeneral supervision of the Materials Manager the Materials Management Supplyclerk applies the skills of materials distribution to effectively handle theposition.
• Effectively interacts withdepartment directors and their employees.
• Restock floor carts each morning.
• Fill stock orders for all departments throughout the hospital and offsite locations.
• Deliver orders to locations.
• Enter patient charges occasionally.
• Expense inventory in computer.
• Assist anyone that comes in and needs supplies.
• Spot count warehouse monthly.
• Check for expired items on carts monthly.
• Check for expired items in warehouse monthly.
• Check for expired items on weekends monthly.
• Check for expired items on specialty carts semi-annually.
• Clean supply carts monthly.
• Clean warehouse bins monthly.
• Order supplies.
• Stock shelves.
• Keep a neat and clean area.
• Courier deliver to locations when needed.
• Replenish all specialty carts.
• Perform annual goals given by Manager.
• All other duties as needed.

WORK HOURS:

• 7:30-4:00;8:00-4:30

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or GED

2. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION

• Driverâs License

3. TRAININGAND EXPERIENCE

• On the job training some computerexperience. Ability to solve problems.
• Good driving record.
• Courier experience a plus but notnecessary.
• Must have good sense of responsibility.

4. JOBKNOWLEDGE

• Computer experience
• Medical supplies knowledge a plus
