Job Summary
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA for Domestic Def Indust Base Facilities and the Maj Range and Test Facilities Base. - You will determine and ensure the proper stocking levels of Hazardous Material for the sealant mixing and dispensing operations.
- You will ensure compliance with receipting storing and issuing of hazardous materials.
- You will be responsible for certification of mixing storing and issuing of pre-mixed frozen sealants.
- You will identify supplies by use knowledge of supplies received stock catalogs manufacturers lists and parts lists.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States drivers license.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets gloves coveralls glasses goggles respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience not necessarily the length of time. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge skills abilities and/or competencies in the job elements and screen out listed job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to perform common tasks including: Ensuring the proper stocking levels of hazardous materials for mixing and dispensing operations; mixing freezing storing dispensing labeling and delivering adhesives sealants solvents lubricants and various other chemicals in accordance with prescribed regulations; dispensing products from larger containers into appropriate sizes; mixing products using special equipment; ensuring all transactions are input in various data management systems; operating mixing freezing and cleaning equipment; reading and preparing shipping documents; using Safety Data Sheets to document hazardous material; receiving palletizing inventorying and checking supplies; using knowledge of hazardous material management and storage in a warehouse setting; using hand tools hand trucks and mechanized equipment.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour including nights weekends and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
This position requires rotating shift work.
This position is subject to an initial drug screening and random testing thereafter. A negative drug test result must be received by HR within 30 calendar days after the EOD (i.e. start date). The selectees inability to successfully pass; or refusal to conduct the test may result in: 1) the tentative or final job offer being withdrawn during the recruitment process; or 2) subsequently being removed from Federal service for failure to meet a condition of employment. You may be required to sign a Drug Test Statement of Understanding if you are selected for this position.
