Material Receiving Forklift Driver

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Receives all incoming deliveries and transfers for foundry and distributes inventory to corresponding departments
• Performs chemical analysis of incoming material if required
• Generates receiving documentation and performs receiving transactions in MRP
• Performs data entry and maintains material records
• Keeps accurate records of foundry inventory and performs regular cycle counts
• Participates in implementation of applicable quality control processes and procedures
• Contributes to continuous improvement activities for the foundry
• Operates truck scale and forklift as required

SKILLS:

• Basic knowledge of quality systems
• Basic knowledge of measurement tools and equipment
• Understanding of basics of manufacturing processes and quality requirements
• Medium level of Microsoft Office (Excel Word Power point)
• Planning time management and prioritization skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Team working skills
• Open to learn

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience inbasic quality
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• This positionoperates in a manufacturing and office environment.
• This position operates outdoors for some time of the day.
• This position involves long periods of sitting; frequent stooping and bending.
• This position routinely uses standard office equipment

The base pay for this position is $25.96 - $27.77. If you are hired your base pay will be determined based on factors such as geographic locations skills education and/or addition to those factors we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
