Material Handler Standup Forklift Operator

Seeking a skilled Material Handler with standup forklift operation experience to join a global manufacturer and distributor of climate control products. This role offers a great opportunity to transition to full-time employment quickly.

As a Material Handler / Standup Forklift Operator you will perform essential warehouse duties including shipping receiving and inventory management. Your forklift certification and ability to operate standup forklifts will be critical in supporting efficient warehouse operations within a reputable company serving HVAC and refrigeration markets.

Job Details

• PAY RATE: 21.00 hour
• HOURS: 8:30am to 5pm
• LOCATION: Depew NY 14043
• POSITION: Right to Hire

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials supplies equipment and finished products under general supervision.
• Receive goods verify items against shipment records and inspect their condition.
• Gather verify and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
• Record received and shipped items following established procedures.
• Route materials supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift certification (required)
• Experience operating standup forklifts (required)
• Drug test clearance
• Background check clearance
• Basic reading writing and numerical skills
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklifts or hydraulic jack lifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Electric RCs
• Scan gun experience
• Some computer skills
