Duties & Responsibilities
- Follow all safety policies and procedures; wear required PPE; report all incidents and accidents immediately; exercise stop-work authority when safety cannot be ensured
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to orders deliveries and inventory transactions
- Proactively identify and resolve issues or discrepancies related to parts procurement delivery or inventory management
- Assist in receiving storing and delivering inventory items; help maintain warehouse security
- Keep the facility clean and organized at all times
- Assist with monthly physical inventory counts
- Organize and maintain storage areas in accordance with storage design principles; recommend improvements as needed
- Move inventory to and from the warehouse as needed; communicate transfers with related departments
- Communicate with supervisor regarding open items scheduling and priorities
- Keep equipment operating by following preventive maintenance procedures and reporting breakdowns promptly
- Report damaged items shortages and shipment discrepancies to supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong teamwork ethic and a high level of dedication
- Ability to stand/walk up to 90% of the workday
- Occasional bending squatting climbing ladders/stairways
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assess weights and judge distance and heights
