As a Material Handler youll play a key role in ensuring materials and inventory move efficiently throughout our warehouse. Daily responsibilities may include:
- Receiving inspecting and verifying incoming shipments against packing slips
- Stocking and organizing materials in designated warehouse locations
- Picking pulling packing and preparing customer and project orders for shipment
- Performing cycle counts and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Using RF scanners handheld devices and warehouse management systems to track inventory
- Loading unloading and transporting materials using pallet jacks hand trucks and other warehouse equipment
- Assisting with shipping labeling and preparing outbound freight
- Maintaining a clean organized and safe warehouse environment
- Following OSHA safety standards and proper material handling procedures
Required:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift
- Ability to stand walk bend and perform physical work for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management systems
- Ability to pass a physical exam
Preferred (but not required):
- Previous warehouse shipping/receiving or inventory experience
- Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment
- Strong math skills for counting verifying and tracking inventory
