Job Summary:The Material Handler II is responsible for coordinating and executing complex material handling inventory control and material movement activities that support manufacturing operations. This role ensures the accurate receipt storage replenishment transfer and issuance of materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and material traceability throughout the facility. The Material Handler II serves as a key resource in warehouse and production support operations utilizing ERP systems RF scanners forklifts pallet jacks and inventory control processes to ensure the efficient flow of materials and uninterrupted production and Responsibilities: Coordinate and execute material movements between receiving warehouse stockroom production and shipping areas to support manufacturing and verify inventory transactions within ERP systems using RF scanners to maintain inventory accuracy and production through timely material staging line-side replenishment and return-to-stock and resolve inventory discrepancies transaction errors material shortages and location cycle counts inventory audits and inventory reconciliations to ensure inventory material movement documentation and ensure accurate physical and system forklifts pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely and inventory organization through proper bin management FIFO practices and material storage in training and supporting Material Handler I team members on material handling and inventory control with Production Planning Inventory Control Quality and Supply Chain teams to resolve material-related issues and support operational continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy material flow and operational a clean organized and safe work environment while adhering to all company safety quality and security other duties and responsibilities as : Minimum Three (3) years of experience in material handling inventory control warehouse operations logistics or manufacturing support working within ERP systems required; SAP experience strongly utilizing RF scanners (RF guns) for inventory transactions material tracking and warehouse operations and pallet jack experience required; forklift certification or ability to obtain certification understanding of inventory control principles cycle counting inventory reconciliation and material to analyze inventory discrepancies and assist in identifying root causes and corrective computer skills and proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office to read write and follow written and verbal instructions with strong attention to to stand walk bend reach and perform repetitive tasks for up to 10-12 hours with or without reasonable to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation; mechanical lifting devices and team lifts may be utilized as needed.
