Location/Division Specific Information:
This is a Material Handler I role in Storage Control department with the work
Second Shift: Monday - Friday 2:30pm-10:30pm

A Day in the Life:
- Receiving examining sorting arranging counting storing picking and packing items for storage and/or shipment in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements.
- Preparing and filing routine documentation.
- Maintaining quality metrics.
- Operating material handling equipment (e.g. hand truck pallet jack Forklift etc).
- Working in and out of a 4c walk-in Cold Room and -20c walk-in Freezer.
Education:
High School Diploma OR GED Required
Experience:
- No previous work experience required
- Preferred: Experience in distribution warehouse or supply chain or related field
- Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers)

- Ability to analyze and solve problems independently as well as collaboratively.
- Self-motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills successful in partnering with colleagues of differing cultural language and educational backgrounds.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Ability to regularly sit stand walk talk and hear; use hands to finger handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Close vision and ability to adjust focus required.
- Regularly required to lift up to 20 pounds. May be required to lift weight of 45 pounds or more with assistance and/or with equipment on occasion.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $12.56$18.84.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
