Material Handler

Nesco Resource is looking for a Material Handler located in Danbury CT. This is a contract opportunity for the right candidate. Expected duration of assignment is 3-6 months with potential of lasting longer.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM (Ability to work every other Saturday if needed)

Pay: $20-$24/hour depending on experience

• Move raw materials components and supplies to designated production areas in a timely manner.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels at workstations to prevent production delays.
• Perform cycle counts and update inventory information within the ERP system.
• Assist with receiving shipping and organizing incoming and outgoing materials.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and material handling guidelines.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 12 years of experience in material handling warehousing or a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills; experience with ERP or inventory management systems is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely operate material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and support a team in a fast-paced environment.
