Job Summary:
The Material Handleris responsible forreceiving moving storing counting tracking issuing andshipping a variety of production parts materials and supplies. The production floor relies on this position to provide the right parts and materials at the right time in order to meet on-time-delivery goals.
Essential Functions:
Maintain accurate inventory control by following established work instructions and processes.
Move materials to and from receiving production areas and shipping by hand using sorting bins and carts or other equipment
Unpack receive and stock materials into storeroom location(s)
Read work orders to determine material and equipment needs for production cell work
Issue critical materials to production cells
Complete the cycle count process for Value Stream; Escalate variances in counts as needed
Respond to unplanned issues with internal customers in a timely manner
Aid and/or Backfill coworkers as needed to complete daily tasks
Change part stocking methods to better facilitate production needs
Perform root cause investigation on variances in cycle counts
Ensure compliance with export compliance rules
Any other task assigned by supervisor or management
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience:1yearsof relevant manufacturing experience
Knowledge: Warehousing and materials;Familiar with lean principles
Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated outstanding manual dexterity; Demonstrated ability to concentrate on repetitive tasks; Demonstrated ability to accurately follow detailed work instructions; Demonstrated ability to understand standard work instructions; Math skills to perform basic calculations; Outstanding verbal communication skills; Proficient with MS Office
Education/Certification:High School diploma or equivalent
Eligibility Requirement:This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with manufacturing software tools
Working Conditions:
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses gowning masks hearing protectors heel/wrist straps and any otherrequired PPE
May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises cold temperatures confined spaces dust or fumes

Salary range: $21.83 - $30.03. Several factors contribute to actual salary including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities skills training and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
