MATERIAL CONTROL SPECIALIST I

General Purpose:The Material Control Specialist I is responsible for supporting efficient material flow throughout Glocks warehouse and distribution operations. This role executes material control activities including putaway replenishment consolidation warehouse slotting and organization and material movement coordination. The Material Control Specialist I ensures materials are properly stored identified and positioned to support production inventory control and order fulfillment requirements while maintaining location integrity and adherence to company (s) Available:8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through FridaySupervisory Responsibilities:NoneDuties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned):Material Flow & ReplenishmentExecute replenishment activities to support production warehouse and order fulfillment inventory levels and replenish pick locations from reserve storage locations to support production and order fulfillment material movements between storage production staging and fulfillment uninterrupted material flow by responding to operational replenishment Organization & Location IntegrityMaintain organized storage locations and warehouse inventory is stored in designated locations and properly inventory consolidation activities to improve storage utilization and warehouse warehouse organization efforts consistent with 5S and Lean warehouse space optimization through proper storage practices consolidation activities and inventory with slotting and re-slotting activities as physical and system location & Material Movement ControlExecute ERP and warehouse management system transactions associated with material physical movements are accurately reflected within system license plate location and inventory identification and report discrepancies related to material movements or storage & ComplianceAdhere to OSHA ISO EPA and company safety material handling equipment in accordance with established a clean safe and organized work ImprovementParticipate in warehouse optimization and continuous improvement opportunities to improve material flow storage utilization and operational implementation of standardized warehouse Requirements:To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
