Job Summary
As a Master Machinist at Reliable Safety & Flow Corporation - Columbia Plant you will have the opportunity to work with your hands. You may be responsible for reading blueprints fabrication/welding tooling repair designing jigs and templates as work aids in the fabrication of parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Tool and die blueprint reading
- Mechanical knowledge
- Fabrication/welding
- Familiar with Injection Molding
- Manufacturing repair
- Tooling repair
- Precision measuring instrument
- Repairing molds
- Operating grinding and milling machines
- Tear down clean assemble after fix clean polish
- Grind mill & lathe
- Visualizing and computing metal shapes and tolerances
- Designing jigs and templates as work aids in the fabrication of parts
- Measuring and marking metal stock for machining
- Setting up machine tools such as drills lathes grinders and milling machines
- Filing grinding shimming metals to ensure a smooth finish
- Fitting and assembling tools and mold parts
- Inspecting finished dies and molds for defects smoothness and contour deformities
- All other duties/tasks as assigned
Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned. Employee must be able to obtain a tow motor license and successfully pass LOTO and confined space training.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- General Machine Knowledge
- AutoCad or Solidworks Experience
- Majority of time is spent standing and repetitive use of both hands
- Working in a factory environment - heat dust etc.
