The following is a summary of the major responsibilities of the : Massage TherapistDepartment: SpaPurpose: The Massage therapist is responsible for guest satisfaction in the spa by performing services to the best of their ability and maintaining Omni standards throughout all to: Spa Director/Manager Summary of Position: To provide and maintain the highest standards of massage therapy body treatments and recommendations for home care daily operational procedures overall excellent guest care creating a feeling of rest and relaxation for our guests resulting in high retention and increased treatments and retail sales for the Joya Spa. Therapists will focus on exceeding Guest expectations by relying on guest preferences placed in the guest history while maintaining Omni standards as well as the Guest safety at all Requirements:Reading writing and oral proficiency demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate with our associates members and communication and outgoing minimum of 500 massage training or 300 hours of massage training and 2 years of experience at a luxury high-end spa to remain calm and organized in a busy to stand and walk for at least 10 hours per day and squat or bend to lift up to 30 lb. boxesEssential Job Functions:Provide the very highest quality in terms of treatment and professional work as part of the Spa therapy team to consistently provide the highest possible standard of treatment creating a sensory journey for guests helping them to rest relax and regain a sense of balance and harmony in their begin and end treatments at the published time and ensure correct procedures of all treatments are being followed at all all equipment and linens etc. are fully stocked on a day to day basis in your treatment all inventory levels are accurate so that you are prepared for your all guests depart with a completed prescription form after each and every to consistently produce a minimum of 10% in retail sales per day / week / all professional stock is being used in compliance with the PAR levels to assist with reduction in product for setting up the treatment rooms according to procedures and dispose of laundry on a timely with confidence product and service benefit to Demand Analysis:Positions: * Sitting* Computer use: head/neck rotation to rightelbow flexionwrists neutralrapid finger motions* Lifting through full range* Standing/walking* Squatting/overhead reach into filesForce: 0-10 lbs. for most office related items50 lb. boxes are maneuvered into position but not liftedHeavy exercise machines: 100 lbs.
