KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Team Captain: Lead and supervise security officers offering guidance and unwavering support every step of the way.
- Peacemaker Extraordinaire: Use top-notch conflict resolution skills to handle both team disputes and guest interactions with professionalism and empathy.
- Training Champion: Conduct engaging sessions that empower team members with essential security protocols and procedures setting them up for success.
- Emergency Maestro: Coordinate rapid and effective responses to emergencies ensuring your team is always ready for anything.
- Operations All-Star: Oversee daily security operations making sure policies are followed and our dedication to security excellence never wavers.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a safety and security role preferably within a hotel or similar setting.
- Experience in supervising or leading a team is preferred.
- Knowledge of local laws and ordinances.
- Certificate of Completion in Safety and Security Training and/or State Security License including applicable background checks per State requirements.
- CPR First Aid and AED Certification from American Heart Association Red Cross or HSI.
- AHLA Certified Lodging Security Supervisor certification completed within 60 days of hire.
