We have an exciting short-termjob opportunity as Marketing & Communications Intern this Fall 2026!

WHAT YOULL DO: Youll play a key role in supporting the Marketing & Communications team in promoting programs eventsfacilities and services through engaging and timely content.

  • Assist in the overall functions of the Marketing & Communications department.
  • Assist with creating engaging content for the Districts websites social media channels email
    communications and other platforms.
  • Photograph and record video at District programs events and facilities.
  • Create short-form video content for social media.
  • Assist with planning and developing social media content.
  • Write edit and proofread marketing materials including news articles newsletters and other
    communications.
  • Create basic graphics and promotional materials using established brand standards and templates.
  • Assist with developing promotional campaigns for programs events facilities and other District
    initiatives.
  • Assist with proofreading and quality control to ensure accuracy consistency and adherence to District.


WHAT YOULL BRING:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong internal and external customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and concise social media content.
  • Basic photography and videography skills.
  • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity in Canva.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Creativity initiative and willingness to learn.
  • Interest in marketing communications public relations journalism digital media graphic design orrelated field.
  • Previous experience creating content for social media school organizations or community organizationsis a plus.


WHEN YOULL WORK:

  • 15-19 hours/week schedule will vary depending on availability.


WHAT YOULL GET:

  • The hourly rate for this position is $15.25/hour.
  • This position falls under Pay Grade D with a pay range of $15.25 - $25.50.
