The Opportunity:

TheMarketing andProposalSpecialistis responsible forprovidingadministrativesupport to theProposalManagerandmanagement roleis responsible forthe firms marketing branding and advertising efforts events and outreach initiatives under the guidance and general supervision of theProposal Manager. Inaddition thisrole willsupportthe Proposal Managerwith duties involvingthe proposal lifecycleincludingcapture bidproposalmanagementandsubmission follow-on requirements fromfederal clientsandawardor loss/debrief. This role willworkclosely withtheProposal Managerandall levels of management across the organization as well as following are representative but not all-inclusive of the knowledge skillsand abilitiesrequiredtoperformin this role.

Rolesand Responsibilities:

Marketing

  • Executes and managesmarketing and communication initiatives including website content updates intranet postings website content social media content includingvideoand digital campaigns.

  • Ensures brand uniformity through creating andmaintainingbranding material for New Employee Packets Company Information Recruitment Packets and internal employee events while coordinating the designs marketing branding and advertising for events to include ideas based on theme creative design for ads and social media postings.

  • Updates tracks monitors and executesexisting Marketing Plan.

Proposal Support:

  • Assists the Proposal Manager throughout the proposal process toincludecorresponding with agencies development of content creating andmaintainingcompliance matrix proofreading and production and submission per solicitation specifications.

  • Withtheguidance of the Proposal Managerdevelopsproposals around marketing strategies includingvalue proposition capability visualsandotherenhanced graphics.

  • Conducts final review of proposals to address all compliance deficienciesgaps spelling grammar formatting consistency and general word processing edits.

  • Uses SharePoint and MS Office Suite (Word Excel and PowerPoint) to create format document andmaintaincapability statements bid/no-bid log proposal tracking log compliance matrices resumes past performances and proposal documents.

  • Assistsas needed to coordinate electronic submission ofquestions and/orproposal package per solicitation instructions.

Business Development(BD):

  • Conducts dailysearchof online platforms forpotentialcontractopportunities.

  • Assistswith the coordination forpractice and industry eventswhichincludetwo (2)national conferencesthatrequire travelandtwo (2)local conferences.

  • Assistsinmaintainingthe BD shared documents repository including target agencies core service offerings agency forecastsidentifiedopportunities and other data gathered.

  • Usestoolssuch asGovWinorGovTribe forcaptureBDand proposal research.

  • Develops and conducts training for staff oncapturetoolswhitepapers capability statements blogs use of social media and Section 508 compliance.

GeneralOperations:

  • As requestedbypractice leadersresponsibleforensuringSection 508 compliance(certificationrequired).

  • Reviewscontent for executive consumption and firmwide distribution contributing to thefirmsprofessional image.

Required Education:

  • Bachelors DegreeinMarketingEnglish JournalismBusiness Communicationorrelated fieldpreferred.

Required Experience:

  • Minimumof2-4 yearsof professional experience.

  • Passionate aboutand highly skilled atwritingproofreadingand communication.

  • Experience with creating content for social media or other publicationsrequired.

  • Independent worker with strong organizational and multi-tasking skillsrequired.

  • Familiarity withFacebookXLinkedIn and Instagramfor Business Pages.

  • Graphics andbranding experiencerequired.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office365 (includingSharePointMicrosoftTeams ExcelPowerPoint etc.)and word processingrequired.

  • Must be able and willing to work long hours (possible weekends) with limited notice to complete proposalsin accordance withcurrent or prospectiveclientdeadlines.

  • Desktop Publishing (Adobe Illustrator) skills are a plus.

  • Ability tolearn technical systems quickly and efficiently.

  • Knowledge ofgovernment contractingrequired(minimum of 1 year of experience) with experience responding to federal procurements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • APMPor MarketingCertificationdesired.

  • Section508 Certificationdesiredormust be obtained after hire.

  • ExperienceusingMicrosoft Copilot or other AI productivity tools.

  • Mustbe ableto multi-task and work well under tight deadlines.

  • Knowledge of Canva and Squarespace a plus.

  • Must have excellent attention to detail a pragmatic approachand a spark of creativity.

  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel.

  • Must beskilledinAdobeIllustrator and/orPhotoShop.

Salary

Salary at Williams Adley is determined by various factors including but not limited to the individuals particular combination of education knowledge skills competencies experience contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is between $65000 and $75000 based on experience skills and certifications. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Williams Adleys total compensation package for employees.

Work Model

Williams Adleyfollows employees work remotely the majority of the certain client engagements may require on-site workeither part-time or full-timedepending on contract requirements. Applicants should be comfortable working in both remote and client-site environments as needed.
