Manufacturing Training Coordinator

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and deliver structured training programs for shop floor employees focusing on safety quality and production processes.
• Conduct computer-based and hands-on instruction and skills validation for machine operation fabrication processes inspection requirements and safety procedures.
• Standardize training materials work instructions (WI) and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency across multiple sites.
• Collaborate with site managers and supervisors to identify skill gaps and implement targeted development plans.
• Maintain accurate and current training documentations records and competency tracking in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Partner with Quality and Safety teams to integrate defect prevention strategies injury reduction practices and audit findings into training content.
• Measure training effectiveness using defined performance metrics and employee feedback and adjust programs to improve learning outcomes.
• Utilize digital tools e-learning platforms and blended learning methods to enhance accessibility across shifts and locations.
• Travel regularly to manufacturing facilities to deliver on-site training and ensure alignment of training practices.
• Promote a safe work environment by reinforcing compliance with OSHA ISO and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelors degree in relevant field and asset(or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of Fiber Glass manufacturing experience preferable in a leadership/coaching role
• Proficiency with computer hardware and software including MS Office (Excel Word Teams SharePoint) and Adobe.
• Strong communication problem-solving and motivational skills.
• Flexible scheduling availability.
• Experience working with diverse teams and departments.

• While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or control; talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Factory environment includes exposure to varying temperatures noise levels and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Willingness to travel frequently between multiple locations
