Under general supervision test inspect troubleshoot rework and repair product or related subassemblies to written and/or oral specifications.
The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.
- Responsible for meeting quality efficiency and safety requirements and standards.
- Operate test calibrate and repair production equipment products and related subassemblies as required per specifications and document results with operations and engineering.
- Reads and interprets schematics and blueprints required to ensure proper calibration of machines.
- Ensure that design implementation test and maintenance methods/processes are developed as well as executed in a manner which supports all quality standards.
- Performs root cause investigations on systems/subassemblies using basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Participate in daily management board.
- Comply with 6S.
- Conduct inventory transactions.
- Report failures via NCE process.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a controlled Clean Room or Dark Room (if applicable).
- Understand and comply with all work safety rules and regulations and GMP guidelines.
- Work on special projects as requested.
- Ability to work overtime to meet production schedule as needed.
- Sit; use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls.
- Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
- Lifting/moving and carrying products weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts vibration and/or moderate noise levels.
- Exposure to hazardous chemicals or other materials.
- Safety Shoes with Impact and Compression Protection must be worn.
