Manufacturing Tech Specialist

• Maintenance repair and support of semiautomated and robotic manufacturing equipment (bottling and labelling lines)
• Troubleshooting vision and labelling (printers) systems machinery and production systems
• Performing preventive maintenance activities on automated systems

Job Posting Description

• Responsible for performing a variety of technical support duties in one or more manufacturing areas which may involve working with and assisting engineers.
• Duties may be related to the selection installation maintenance repair and support of manufacturing equipment; technical support of one or more production/fabrication processes product testing and troubleshooting; and/or technical analyses and problem-solving.
• Carries out and/or assists in the development improvement and optimization of standards processes and procedures in the manufacturing environment which may include cycle-time yield unit cost quality safety and compliance.
• May assist in qualifying sources of raw materials chemicals and other ingredients used in the manufacturing process.
• May use layout plans blueprints operating or repair manuals and rough sketches or drawings to set up calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and perform maintenance and repairs.
• Works with engineers to develop execute and track the testing and problem resolution of new and existing components parts products or processes/systems.
• Compiles and maintains applicable documentation.
• May design and/or build tools.

Job Posting Qualifications

• May require some higher education or specialized training/certification or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically 1-3 years of relevant experience for entry to this level.
