Job Description

  • As a member of the Quality team the Quality Engineer will be responsible for leading the
    execution of the organizations Strategic Quality Plan serving as the management
    representative for the Quality Management System and ensuring product quality aligns
    with internal standards industry standards and customer requirements.
Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary interface between customer and manufacturing plant
    Interact proactively with customers on-site as required
    Coordinate and resolve customer corrective and preventative quality issues
    Validate and verify corrective actions within production processes
    Coordinate sorting activities at customer plants
    Maintain customer KPIs and provide weekly internal reporting
    Update control plans and participate in process walk activities
    Stop processes or product delivery in case of non-conformance
    Support activities related to the Quality Management System
    Perform other duties as assigned
Education Requirements

Bachelors degree in Engineering or technical field

Experience Requirements

3 years of experience in a Quality function
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong problem-solving skills using 8D methodology
Knowledge of quality tools (APQP PFMEA SPC MSA)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Understanding of quality systems (IATF16949 ISO 9001 VDA)
Strong communication and analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment
Preferred Requirements:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint)
