Job Description
- Develop and execute test plans test cases and test suites for software and embedded systems.
- Perform functional regression UAT and live environment testing across platforms.
- Identify document and track bugs using tools such as Jira and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
- Analyze system requirements and translate them into detailed test documentation and quality assurance protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers designers and business analysts to ensure product readiness.
- Support the implementation of agile practices and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Evaluate product performance post-release using analytics and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain quality documentation including FSDs PRDs and mock-ups.
- Provide training and mentorship to new team members on QA processes and tools.
- Risk minimization through use of appropriate risk assessment tools and verification of the robustness of detection and prevention systems for special characteristics.
- Support the development and maintenance of FMEAs and control plans
- Support the definition of quality processes and technical standards in cooperation with development product management and manufacturing to ensure product quality
- Support the planning and evaluation of product test drives within quality and approvals of functions and systems.
- Provide quality support to the technical and manufacturing teams as well as drive/support daily operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Higher Diploma in Software Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- 5 years of experience in software quality assurance testing and business analysis.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and SDLC.
- Proficiency in QA tools such as Jira YouTrack and test management platforms.
- Experience with cross-platform testing and bug tracking.
- Excellent communication stakeholder management and documentation skills.
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (preferred).
- PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner (preferred).
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment with global collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal for cross-functional collaboration.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain rigorous quality documentation.
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments and willingness to innovate in quality assurance technologies.
