Job Summary
Job Title: Certified Manufacturing Project Manager Equipment & Facility Projects
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Location: San Marcos Texas

About this role
There is an excellent opportunity to drive operational execution and milestone delivery withinour manufacturing facility. We are seeking a dedicated execution-focused ManufacturingProject Manager to orchestrate the lifecycle of industrial installation equipment fabricationand commissioning projects. This role focuses strictly on professional project managemen ensuring timelines are met budgets are tracked and cross-functional teams are aligned tosupport capital than acting as a technical designer or a lead manager for specific trades the projectmanager serves as the strategic conductor of the project. This individual will manageschedules track resources and remove roadblocks while collaborating closely withexperienced independent leads across mechanical electrical piping and fabrication

What Youll Be Doing:
Core Project Management & Milestone Execution
Schedule & Track Progress: Utilize project management tools to develop monitorand update baseline schedules ensuring project milestones stay on the criticalpath.
Cross-Functional Orchestration: Facilitate daily or weekly alignment meetings withindependent mechanical electrical piping and fabrication leads to synchronizingtimelines managing dependencies and eliminating operational bottlenecks.
Risk Tracking & Reporting: Proactively identify project delays resource constraintsor material shortages escalating risks early and maintaining accurate progressreports for plant leadership.
Budget & Resource Stewardship: Monitor project expenditures (CapEx/OpEx)against the approved budget managing cash flow timelines and tracking projectcost variances.
Procurement & BOM Management
BOM Ownership: Take full ownership of tracking the project Bill of Materials (BOM)monitoring lead times and verifying procurement status to prevent field delays.
Sourcing & Logistics Coordination: Coordinate closely with procurement andvendors to ensure raw materials structural steel piping components and industrialhardware arrive on site in alignment with the master schedule.
Material Inventory Control: Monitor material arrivals against packing lists trackquality compliance upon delivery and ensure on-site staging supports theinstallation timeline.
Collaborative Interface with Discipline Leads
Mechanical & Fabrication Interface: Coordinate project timelines and delivery dateswith the experienced Mechanical and Fabrication Leads ensuring shop fabricationand equipment rigging align with the broader facility schedule.
Piping Integration: Interface with the Piping Lead to track installation progressensure material availability and map out testing windows.
Electrical Integration: Coordinate utility requirements and timeline expectationswith a Master Electrician and their specialized crew relying on their technicalexpertise for execution and code compliance.

Blueprint & Design Literacy: Read and accurately interpret mechanical drawingsP&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) fabrication blueprints and basicschematics to understand project scope and track field progress.

Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing or coordinatingprojects within a manufacturing fabrication or industrial construction environment.
Project Management Focus: Proven track record of managing project schedulestracking budgets and coordinating Bill of Materials (BOM) procurement. PMP required
Software Proficiency: Practical hands-on knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD fordesign review and file navigation alongside standard project management andscheduling software (e.g. MS Project Asana or Smartsheet).
