We are hiring a Manufacturing Associate I to support day-to-day production operations in a team-based manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating production equipment maintaining quality standards completing production records and supporting safe and efficient plant operations.
The position works under the direction of the Production Supervisor and Business Unit Manager contributing to the production of high-quality parts that meet customer and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Set up operate and maintain production equipment
Monitor equipment performance to ensure quality and efficiency standards
Complete accurate daily production and quality documentation
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Total Quality Management (TQM) systems
Comply with safety environmental and quality standards (including ISO 14001 and TS 16949)
Maintain clean safe and organized work areas (housekeeping/5S practices)
Participate in required training and skill development
Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives
Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or production experience preferred
Forklift operation experience required
Experience operating and maintaining production equipment
Ability to accurately complete production records
Basic computer skills
Ability to read and communicate in English (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail and basic measurement/inspection skills
Dependable team-oriented and adaptable
Physical Requirements
Prolonged standing bending and stooping
Use of hands for pushing pulling grasping and handling materials
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
Steel-toe or composite safety footwear required
Use of required PPE including hearing and eye protection
Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing plant environment with standard industrial conditions. Safety compliance is mandatory. Exposure to extreme conditions is limited.
Location & Commute
On-site role located in Bellefontaine Ohio.
Preferred candidates within a 1-hour commute from: Bellefontaine Russells Point Urbana Sidney and the Dayton metro area.
Due to the full-time onsite schedule and limited relocation support local candidates are strongly preferred.
