The Operations Intern will support daily manufacturing and operational activities while gaining hands-on experience in production processes team leadership continuous improvement methodologies and supply chain functions. This role offers exposure to cross-functional operations including planning and shipping/receiving and provides opportunities to contribute to impactful projects that improve efficiency quality and productivity.
Expected Duration: May - August
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day production activities to ensure safety quality delivery and costobjectivesare met
- Monitor workflowsidentifyinefficiencies and escalate or help resolve operational issues
- Maintainaccurateproduction data reports and performance metrics;participatein dailytiermeetings andvalue streamupdates
- Collaboratewith supervisors and team leads to support staffing communication and overall team effectiveness
- Participate in Lean initiatives such as 5S waste reduction and standard work development; support audits and sustainment activities
- Assistwith and gain exposure to production planning scheduling and material coordination
- Support inventory management material movement and shipping/receiving activities
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing abachelorsdegree
- Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
- Self-starter with a strong willingness to learn and take initiative

Compensation
The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $19-20 based on academic school year.
