VOLT is hiring Manufacturing Operators for a hands on role in a climate controlled biotech lab environment located in Austin TX. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a stable work history who want to grow in the biotechnology manufacturing or production industry.

While these positions begin as contract roles strong performers will be considered for conversion into full-time employment.

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and lab instructions accurately
• Perform routine lab and manufacturing tasks with minimal supervision
• Maintain a clean organized and precise work environment
• Use computers and lab systems to document work and track materials
• Operate small tools materials and lab equipment safely
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE
• Support continuous improvement of lab processes
• Stand for extended periods and work 12.5hour shifts
• Lift materials safely within OSHA limitations
• Work overtime when needed

Required Qualifications

• Consistent work history with experience in fast paced environments such as:
  • Manufacturing
  • Warehouse
  • Production
  • Fulfillment
  • Assembly
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to carefully follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic computer skills (data entry tracking systems etc.)
• Reliable communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or GLP (Good Laboratory Practices).

Day and Night Shifts: 12.5 hours for 3 days/6.5 for 1 day (4x on/3x off)

Pay Rate: <$20.00- $23.00per hour> 10% shift diff

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
