Manufacturing Operations Supervisor Paint

International is seeking a driven and people-focused Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to lead the Main Paint Center team within Body and Paint Department at our state-of-the-art San Antonio Manufacturing Plant. As International Motors continues to grow in San Antonio we are expanding our production operations with the introduction of a night production shift. The night shift is Monday through Thursday from 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM with production planned to begin in early 2027.

This position will initially work Day Shift and will be required to transition to Night Shift as the operation ramps up in mid-2027.

Day Shift Schedule: Monday through Thursday 5:30 AM4:00 PM Some Manadatory Overtime Required.

Night Shift Schedule: Monday through Thursday 5:30 PM4:00 AM Some Manadatory Overtime Required.

This is a salaried position supporting a manufacturing operation. While the primary schedule aligns with the designated production shift employees are expected to provide operational support as needed to meet business objectives. This may require working outside normal production hours including extended shifts production startup activities recovery efforts and occasional weekend support based on operational requirements.

Shift Differential: 10% differential upon transitioning to Night Shift work schedule.

• Champion a strong safety culture and drive continuous safety improvements across the department
• Lead coach mentor and develop a team of up to 50 hourly employees to achieve their full potential
• Drive quality productivity and operational performance to meet and exceed business goals
• Manage staffing and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations and minimize downtime
• Collaborate with Engineering Quality Supply Chain and Production teams to solve problems and improve processes
• Develop implement and maintain standard work instructions and operating procedures
• Foster employee engagement and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the team
• Lead problem-solving efforts conduct root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented and sustained

• Bachelors degree and at least 2 years of production/manufacturing experience

OR

• Masters degree and at least 1 year of production/manufacturing experience

OR

• At least 5 years of production/manufacturing experience

• Qualified candidates excluding current employees must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen Legal Permanent Resident Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. • Experience leading hourly teams within a manufacturing or production environment
• Automotive assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel Outlook Teams and PowerPoint
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced high-demand environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
• Passion for developing people driving results and creating a positive team culture
