Manufacturing Maintenance Assistance (Nights)

Nesco Resource is seeking a mechanically inclined Manufacturing Maintenance Assistant for one of our long-term clients in Taylor MI. This is a contract-to-hire role with excellent growth opportunities!

Summary:
The ideal candidate will have a technical and manufacturing background with experience in troubleshooting completing repairs and assisting with preventive maintenance. Trade school graduates are highly encouraged to apply!

Shift: 3 ^rd 10:00 pm to 6:00 am Sunday through Thursday with possible OT
Pay : 24/hr to 26/hr per level of experience



Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Maintenance team with troubleshooting and performing mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic repairs
• Utilizing hand/power tools and other equipment to assemble products
• Inspect and test completed assemblies verifying accuracy quality and adherence to specifications
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns to the maintenance team
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks on machinery tools and facility equipment as needed
• Identify and report any defects in materials parts or equipment to supervisors
• Maintain a consistent workflow to keep up with demands
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve processes and resolve issues
• Maintain 5S standards for a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety protocols and procedures

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Trade School/Associates degree within a mechanical or electrical background
• 2 years of previous experience within a mechanical automotive or manufacturing role preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents schematics and blueprints
• Ability to stand twist and bend throughout the shift
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Possess strong attention to detail
