Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 4:30pm
OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-time Manufacturing Engineer you will provide technical support to manufacturing engineering quality heat treat and customer service departments. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding training and meeting performance goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
o Designing tooling for cold/hot heading secondary processes and gaging
o Troubleshooting manufacturing processes machinery tooling and gaging
o Initiating recommendations for tooling materials speeds feeds and equipment setup
o Researching capital appropriations for manufacturing equipment upgrades and replacements
o Providing effective recommendations for the improvement of operational methods to reduce manufacturing costs and improve product quality
o Assisting with quoting and costing activities
o Promoting and implementing continuous improvement programs
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess or are working towards a bachelors degree in Engineering
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
o Highly motivated self directed and customer service oriented
o Demonstrate strong organization planning and prioritizing abilities
o Demonstrate strong math aptitude attention to detail and sense of urgency
o Exhibit strong problem solving deductive reasoning and decision making skills
o Exhibit strong orientation toward continuous improvement
o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
o Work independently as well as in a team environment
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition innovation integrity and teamwork
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Prior experiencing using CAD (Solidworks/AutoDesk Inventor)

The base pay range for this position is $60000 - 80000. In addition to base pay this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
