Raytheons internship program is designed to empower growth by exploring the dynamic nature of the defense industry throughout Raytheon Operations Supply Chain & Quality (OSCQ). Throughout the summer you will be able to expand your knowledge of OSCQ while also gaining unprecedented exposure to leadership along the way.

Manufacturing engineers are responsible for the interpretation and translation of design requirements into manufacturing processes. They apply production methods expertise to generate processes and provide feedback to the design community. They support factory operations to ensure process and design requirements are satisfied and drive continuous improvements to reduce cost defects and cycle time.

**Please Note: This position is located at the Raytheon Diné Facility in Farmington - Diné Facility adheres to the Navajo Nation Preference in Employment Act in areas of recruitment and hiring practices.

What You Will Do

• Utilize Raytheon systems and tools to support Manufacturing processes
• Support production operations and the Manufacturing discipline
• Support Manufacturing objectives for cost quality schedule and safety
• Support improvement and optimization initiatives within the Manufacturing discipline

Qualifications You Must Have

• Must be pursuing Bachelors or Advanced degree in Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical engineering or related Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools
• Experience/Education with manufacturing testing processes
• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

*Experience may be obtained through onthejob experience research coursework or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Prior internship experience
• Experience/Education with technical writing and interpretation of technical documentation
• 3.0 cumulative GPA

The salary range for this role is 37000 USD - 82000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
