Job Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and optimize manufacturing processes for complex electromechanical hardware within the aerospace this role you will translate engineering designs into efficient production methods support manufacturing builds improve quality and cost and collaborate with Engineering Quality Supply Chain and Production teams to deliver high-quality hardware.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing processes work instructions and build documentation.
- Translate engineering drawings and specifications into production-ready processes.
- Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Design for Assembly (DFA) and FMEA activities.
- Improve manufacturing methods to enhance quality reduce cost and increase efficiency.
- Review engineering drawings and recommend design improvements.
- Support non-conformances root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Develop process controls and monitor manufacturing performance.
- Manage hardware configuration build schedules quality and production flow.
- Support supplier manufacturing and integrate new production equipment as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical Manufacturing Electromechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of manufacturing or production engineering experience.
- Experience developing manufacturing processes for electromechanical products.
- Strong understanding of GD&T tolerance analysis and mechanical assemblies.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency with CAD Microsoft Office and engineering documentation tools.
- Strong troubleshooting communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electric motors rotating equipment or aerospace/defense manufacturing.
- Experience with avionics wire harnesses propulsion thermal systems or spacecraft hardware.
- Experience launching new production lines or manufacturing cells.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing DFM/DFA FMEA and statistical process control.
- Ability to obtain a DBIDS or NASA badge.
