This position will exclusively support Weekend Shift (Thursday-Sunday 10 hours/day) after an on-boarding period of weekday support.

- Troubleshoot production issues in a timely manner
- Support and manage daily production operations and eliminate blockers and/or part shortages
- Work with cross functional teams to solve production issues
- Provide design for manufacturability feedback and drive positive continuous change to hardware
- Work with process quality and design engineers to continuously improve manufacturing processes

A day in the life

As a Manufacturing Engineer this person will be supporting the technician team by resolving any obstacles and working with responsible engineers to disposition non-conformances. This individual will work closely with engineering teams in specifying and building or procuring tools and line equipment for Amazon Leo hardware builds. The successful candidate has some basic experience in supporting production of space hardware through development QTP (qualification test procedures) and flight hardware ATP (acceptance test procedures).

- 2 years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience

- BS degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
