We are currently looking for an individual to work 2nd and 3rd shift who is ambitious enthusiastic and committed with the desire to work in an innovative and friendly environment.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

Performs a variety of work assignments in support of Forming Operations and also with the operation of machinery used in the production of formed and/or machined products.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides production support to Formed Products Department. Examples of work assignments are: material handling parts cleaning sorting and weighing

Assists Materials Department with counting and packing of product

Operates machinery used in production of formed and/or machined product.

Fills out all required forms and reports.

Ability to operate all of the Forming Operation parts cleaning machinery.

Assists in on-the-job training of new production support employees.

Maintains the machine chip removal and recycling processes. Operates the chip wringer.

Assists machine operators and set-up personnel in the positioning and handling of in-process and finished material.

Checks quality of parts visually. Also be able to use the quality measurement devices.

Maintains safe working conditions and conducts oneself in a way as to not endanger oneself or fellow employee. Maintains a quality standard for Housekeeping.

Reads and refers to blueprints for part specifications.

Responsible to keep supervisor informed of work-related problems and the progress of work assignments.

Operates Data Collection System.

Operates the sit-down and standup forklifts.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/SKILLS

Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Able to lift 75 lbs. push/pull 200 lbs. bend stoop climb reach sit and stand.

Must be able to read write and count.

Read and understand blueprints.

Person must have good vision; can be corrected with glasses.
