Manufacturing Area Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm on call on the weekends and flexibility based on business need
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a total systems materials management program at the plant
- Maintain responsiveness to production requirements and to obtain the best possible quality and price
- Manage finished goods inventories at all locations to meet or exceed service goals
- Develop and execute monthly production plans
- Place orders in assigned plants
- Track/expedite orders to precisely meet demand while maximizing plant efficiency through finite scheduling
- Monitor timeliness of Plant/Distribution and Shipping Center (DSC) shipments
- Develop plan and implement Production Inventory Control (PIC) training
- Assist in planning redeployment of existing inventories to rebalance inventory to current demand
- Create programs and production reporting systems to track critical metrics for location
- Work with operations DSCs and vendors to ensure service and cost goals are met
Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
Must have a bachelors degree or higher and have at least five (5) years of work experience in a Purchasing Logistics Supply Chain or Operations role
- Six Sigma Greenbelt
- Have at least one (1) year of experience in leadership role(s) supervising others or leading teams
- Have prior work experience using MRP (Material Resource Planning) and MPS (Material Production Scheduling) systems
